Group Biography
The university rondalla of the University of Perpetual Help System Laguna. An ensemble of guitar players of bandurria, octavina, guitara, and bajo de arco, venturing on a serenade of traditional folk music and classic popular songs, and modern pop songs with different tone and flavor. With only limited schools around Biñan Laguna who have their in-house rondalla group, the university takes pride in being one of those few schools. The artist-members consist of males and females across levels from Senior High and College; trained and mentored by Maestro Alfred Augustine Arciaga. The Serenada Perpetual Rondalla is under the management of the UPHSL Center for Culture and Arts, headed by Mr. Bryan Neil B. Ladim, LPT MAEd.
